No 1 will be unique Pork MOMO of Dharan followed by SUKITI from SUKUTI GANESH, THUKPA from BUNU DIDIKO PASAL (don't know if she is still there, the 76th district of Nepal), VIJAYPUR DADAMA LOKE KO PASALKO SAMOSA (its more to do with location than the SAMOSA), and....everything from DHARAN.
But these are not exactly souvenirs......According to Ranjeeta, it is CHHURPI, SURAHI and WINE-GLASS made our of metal (brass)......

i did vote for ganesh sukuti among the choices. but i agree with ashok dai regarding dharan ko pork momo. i think it is one of the best. then, i would also like to add the chatpate and dahi wada of shiv ji, maar bhaiya nad co r also mouth watering.
we try making pork momo and our own chatpate recipe here in japan, but it is nothing like as it is in dharan.

As far as i know guys ... non of these items fall under the category of SOUVENIR !
Souvenir should be something special that symbolizes Dharan. Suntala isn't produced in Dharan. Chhurpi isn't made in Dharan either, even the SAAG isn't grown in Dharan.
Yes Dharane black pig is famous for its natural taste. But that dosen't symbolize only Dharan. Black pig can be seen in each and every SeTaMaGuRaLi house in hilly region.
Now can any one explain me ... if these things are Dharane ..Souvenir ?

Iam Dharane too.

If YOUR point was to take us back to school, here's an alternate meaning of "souvenir": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Souvenir

OUR intention, on the other hand, was to gather opinions on nostalgic dharane items, as apposed to solving a logarithm.

The difference is for you to figure.

BTW... good to have you aboard mydharan
