Butwal Police Arrests Three Robbers
Area Police Station of Butwal arrested on Saturday the robbers who were involved in looting Rs.2.2 millions from a businessman over a year ago.
group of four armed robbers looted the amount from Ghanshyam Agarwal, resident of Dharan, while he was doing business in Bhotebahal, Kathmandu.
Parsuram Sunwar of Siddarthnagar Municipality, Rupandehi, Hom Bahadur Thapa and Krishna Man Joshi of Butwal were arrested while the main culprit Shambhu Gautam of Saaljhandi 9, Rupandehi is still absconding. Among the three arrested, Thapa and Joshi have been sent to Kathmandu while Sunwar is kept in Butwal.
“They were also involved in gold smuggling, extortions and murder,” DSP Deepak Thapa said.
