Nabil Bank’s KoolCash and Prepaid Cards
Nabil Bank, the leader in credit and debit card market in Nepal, has launched NabilKoolCash and NabilPrepaid solutions for non-account holders to avail pre-paid card products under the International Visa Electron card brand.
With the launch, the cards are now within the reach of any individuals interested to hold it without even having an account in the Bank, says a press release issued here today.
The newly launched NabilKoolCash and NabilPrepaid service is available from all branches of Nabil Bank from Dharan and Biratnagar in the east, to Nepalgunj in the west.
The card is designed keeping in mind the entire gamut of needs of the customers, including ATM for cash withdrawals or shops, restaurants, hotels and travel agencies, among others, for the purchase of goods and services, to the flexibility of the amount to be loaded in the card which is determined completely by the customer.
"In today's era when cash is becoming more risky and less convenient, NabilKoolCash and NabilPrepaid see 'currency notes' as their main competitor," states the release adding, "One of the main aims of the card product is to move away from the current cash based economy."
According to the release, NabilKoolCash aims to put a card in the hand of all youngsters in high schools, colleges, and young professionals, whilst with NabilPrepaid the trouble of having to carry cash Indian rupees when traveling to India or to pay for the education of children or health care will be a thing of the past.
"This is yet another step forward in our commitment to offer international class banking products to our customers in Nepal," the release quotes, Anil Shah, its chief executive officer, as saying.
